i received letter saying i own money to a company i worked for in 2014; my employment contract with them ended in 2014 and for the last 1.5 years (so 2013-2014) I took leave without pay. they say i own money which i already paid a lot, now they want more. They say they will file action if i do not pay soon, I can  not afford the amount and do not believe i should have to pay? what can i do?
